Les TMS sont d\u00e9finis comme un groupe d\u2019affections progressives ou traumatiques affectant l\u2019appareil locomoteur. Ces troubles causent des douleurs, des inconforts, mais aussi des probl\u00e8mes fonctionnels et une r\u00e9duction de la qualit\u00e9 de vie.<\/p>\n
Les TMS constituent une v\u00e9ritable probl\u00e9matique soci\u00e9tale en \u00e9tant l\u2019une des principales causes d\u2019absent\u00e9isme en Belgique et en France, repr\u00e9sentent plus de 88\u00a0% des maladies professionnelles.<\/p>\n
Chaque personne \u00e9tant unique, nous souhaitons que son suivi le soit tout autant. Par le projet EKIN, nous souhaitons r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette probl\u00e9matique soci\u00e9tale en proposant une solution simple<\/em>, user-friendly<\/em>, flexible<\/em> et low cost<\/em>, et ce, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition de donn\u00e9es cin\u00e9matiques et physiologiques afin de pr\u00e9venir, de diagnostiquer et de traiter les TMS.<\/p>\n Le projet EKIN repose sur trois technologies\u00a0:<\/p>\n Le projet EKIN souhaite aussi r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 quatre probl\u00e9matiques soulev\u00e9es par la kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie. La premi\u00e8re consiste en un environnement dans lequel \u00e9volue le patient qui est limit\u00e9 et non repr\u00e9sentatif du quotidien de ce dernier. La deuxi\u00e8me probl\u00e9matique se rapporte \u00e0 l\u2019observation du patient qui peut \u00eatre limit\u00e9e en fonction des capacit\u00e9s du praticien. Ensuite, le projet EKIN souhaite r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la probl\u00e9matique de l’adoption de la pratique mixte (distanciel et pr\u00e9sentiel) de la kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie soulev\u00e9e apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie. Et enfin, la derni\u00e8re probl\u00e9matique se r\u00e9f\u00e8re aux co\u00fbts tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9s pratiqu\u00e9s dans le domaine de l\u2019analyse du mouvement instrument\u00e9e.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Le projet EKIN fait suite \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de projets connexes ayant permis d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des connaissances et comp\u00e9tences dans les domaines \u00e9tudi\u00e9s, mais aussi de soulever de nouvelles probl\u00e9matiques. Les projets connexes li\u00e9s au domaine de la kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie sont les suivants\u00a0:<\/p>\n Et nous avons aussi le projet CLEVERIOT<\/a> pour l\u2019aspect plateforme de communication multi-standard.<\/p>\n The EKIN<\/strong> project is part of the field of biomechanical analysis technologies and MusculoSkeletal Disorders<\/strong>, known as MSDs.<\/p>\n MSDs are defined as a group of progressive or traumatic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. These disorders cause pain and discomfort, as well as functional disabilities and a life reduction quality.<\/p>\n MSDs are a real problem for society, being one of the main causes of absenteeism in Belgium and in France, accounting for more than 88% of occupational illnesses.<\/p>\n As each person is unique, we want them to be treated in the same way. Through the EKIN project, we want to answer to this societal issue by offering a simple<\/em>, user-friendly<\/em>, flexible<\/em>, and low-cost<\/em> solution, using kinematic and physiological data acquisition to prevent, diagnose and treat MSDs.<\/p>\n The EKIN project is based on three technologies:<\/p>\n The EKIN project also aims to address four issues raised by physiotherapy. The first is that the environment in which patients evolve is limited and not representative of their daily lives. The second issue relates to patient observation, which may be limited depending on the practitioner’s capabilities. Secondly, the EKIN project aims to address the issue of the adoption of mixed practice (distance and face-to-face) in physiotherapy raised after the pandemic. And finally, the last issue relates to the very high cost of instrumented movement analysis.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The EKIN project ensues from a series of related projects that have enabled the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the areas studied, as well as raising new issues.
